Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Mee was traumatised when she moved to America at a young age.  She was called out for being different and bullied by her peers.  That made her feel like she was from the outside looking in.

There was also the challenge of melding the Korean culture with the American culture foe Mee.  Keeping her identity but still blending in with her friends and at school. It was a fine line to straddle and confusing growing up.

The “AHA” Moment

Mee had many AHA moments from what she decided was to live fearlessly.  She knew that if it scared her, then she must do it.  An example is learning to swim in her 50s.
