Favorite Self Confidence Quote

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.

Definition of Self Confidence

Self confidence is about knowing our self worth and embracing ourselves wholeheartedly, flaws and all. It is also about remembering our true identity.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Growing up, Vebs used to be compared to the high-achievers of the family who are scholastics and valedictorians. She used to define her self worth based on the external factors like getting good grades, a good career, achievements and “success” in a worldly sense or how others would define it.

But as time went on, she realized that our worst critic is not our friend, family, “trolls” or “haters”. The worst critic you will ever encounter is the one inside your head. So we have to tame it. We have to learn how to silence it and befriend it.

The “AHA” Moment

Vebs started a gratitude project, which is the Grace and Gratitude podcast.  She learned to befriend herself and silenced the voice and inner critic inside her head.  She no longer defines herself based on how others would defines her or how external factors would defines her.

She now anchors herself to the truth and to her true identity, which is Love (because she believes each one of us is an individual expression of God’s love.)

Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence

Vebs feels that she is enough and she has more gratitude in her life.  She is now more mindful not to compare herself and her journey to other people.  She is more self compassionate and she is now on a mission to help people find their way back to joy and rediscover a meaningful, soulful and fulfilling lives through the practice of self-care, self-compassion, gratitude and a life balance system.

The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener

Never ever doubt your worth or never ever allow other people to question your worth. Be patient with yourself. You are enough and you are worthy. Always remember that life does not happen to us, life happens for us.

You do not have to be ‘okay’ all the time and you do not have to figure out everything all at once.It is a journey and sometimes, it is ‘okay’ not to be ‘okay’ and it is ‘okay’ be vulnerable. As the Persian Poet, Rumi, said, “The wound is the place where the light enters you”.

So allow yourself to feel and heal because we can only heal what we can feel. And once you are ready, pick yourself up, roll up our sleeves again and turn your weakest moments to your glorious moments.

Be grateful. Be joyful. Be YOU
