Definition of Self Confidence

Self confidence is about owning every part of yourself, from the deepest darkest traumas to the biggest brightest achievements.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Before the long and treacherous  journey of finally finding self confidence, life was never totally fulfilling or settled for Mary. There was always something to prove, something to show, something to achieve from the place of saying, “See, I told you I could do it.” What she found was, when she fully own herself, the ugly and the gorgeous, her achievements became fun creations to better the world, rather than a statement to prove she could do it.

The “AHA” Moment

The first one was when Mary woke up the next morning from a suicide attempt at 19 years old studying Psychology at NYU.  She couldn’t believe she was still alive.  She didn’t wake up confident, of course. But she did try to exit this game of life because she simply did not have the life tools and self evolution skills to overcome the toxic upbringing she had. Your childhood is everything! That is the time when programs of confidence or lack thereof, is installed, making a massive impact on your adult life until you do something about it.

The second big AHA was when she moved from NY to San Diego by herself to study Chinese Medicine.  She had a year long mental breakdown where a large portion of suppressed traumas suddenly uncorked spewing pain into every area of her life. It was terrifying.

This was the turning point that caused me to fervently seek out ways to empower herself on the deepest most transformative ways. That was 2006 and she hasn’t stopped since.

Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence

With confidence, Mary knows that she can handle anything that comes her way. And if you can take a positive outlook with the idea of challenge, like an Olympian would, the challenge has a tone of fun, adventure and expansion. At the other end of it you can look back and know you grew in a whole new way. That’s what self confidence can give you.

The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener

Remember who you really are.  You are not your personality or body, but the essence inside your heart.
