Laura Takahashi is a media producer who’s life long mission is to empower women.  She is also the founder of TAK.MEDIA which Show Your Craft With Laura Takahashispecializes in creating content using photography, video, design and more.  Laura along with her wife Jackie were competitors of The Amazing Race Canada Season Two where they were able to race around the world in an ultimate scavenger hunt where it was the first she came out to the world as a married lesbian.

Laura shares how auditioning for The Amazing Race Canada has led her to be more confident in showing her true self along with showing her craft of creating amazing content to the world.  Check out her episode and listen to her story.

Laura is still on the journey and works on it everyday.  She has gone through different levels of confidence and has a sense of calm.

The “AHA” Moment

When Laura got the call to audition for Amazing Race, she put in 30 hours of recording for the audition.  This was able to show her craft and the producers saw something in her.

This gave Laura the boost when being on the show and coming out as a married lesbian.

Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence

With great attention comes with personal scrutiny and Laura tried to perfect her flaws.  She moved forward but took two steps back and became insecure especially after being on Amazing Race.  She gave herself distance which gave her greater confidence.  Unconditional love gave her the confidence.
