Definition of Self Confidence

Self confidence is figuring out what you’re passionate about and being able to take action on your passion because it shows that you can do anything.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Chrisanna remembers in high school she wasn’t afraid to step away from the crowd to be by herself during lunch hours. It wasn’t like she wasn’t allowed to sit with people.  She just didn’t feel like she really clicked with some people who had the same lunch hour with her.

Chrisanna loved to dance. Dance was always there for her. She took it upon herself to focus on that and to better herself as a dancer which meant extra stretching, extra practise. The deepest insecurity came from transitioning from gymnastics to ballet and that was the start of those insecurities that stemmed from body image issues.

Going through all this in high school, sucked.  Chrisanna heard she was fat and a shitty dancer.  She heard all she could do was ballet. Because of all that, she tried for so many years to be like other dancers, to be thinner. By the time she got to her senior year, she won as a dancer. But she didn’t think she was winning in peace of mind.

The “AHA” Moment

What gave Chrisanna confidence was doing choreography for Pussycat Dolls during her senior year and finding inner peace in herself. She realized that she can conquer anything.

The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener

Smiling comes from within. Just. Do.You. Don’t be afraid to sit at the table alone.  Take that time to search within you and outside of you. We all evolve. We don’t change. We just grow. What you may have liked yesterday could expand into something more tomorrow. And DON’T BE AFRAID! You could be scared to do something and risk out in seeing something so beautiful. Life’s a climb, but the view is great.
