In high school, when the teacher would come in and tell the class that there was a pop quiz, they would all have this feeling of fear because they were not ready for the test.

The told the class including Karencitta that they felt the way hey felt because they were not prepared.  This is when she realized she has to prepare for an audition or test and succeeds, it gave her confidence.
