Favorite Self Confidence Quote

To be all that you can be, you must dream of being more.

Definition of Self Confidence

Knowing the essence of yourself, accepting it, and being willing to make it available to the universe.  Going inward.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

One of Alfa’s biggest obstacles was not knowing the language or culture when she moved to America as a child. She was not put in an ESL class, and she had no formal training in English, so she spent the first few years misunderstanding everybody (and vice versa). This resulted in her thinking she was inherently a “bad kid.”

The “AHA” Moment

Alfa and her family moved to New Jersey and that’s when she saw an opportunity for a blank slate and she actually, literally told herself that she was going to prove that she was not a “bad kid.”  Alfa pushed herself to do things that were uncomfortable like sports, music, and extracurricular clubs. When she found her passion for songwriting and performing, she just kept challenging herself to stick with it.

Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence

Alfa considers herself a self-confident woman even if she doesn’t feel that way every day of her life. There are days when she feels beneath herself and burnt out.  It’s not like you make this discovery and suddenly everything is perfect all the time!  But she has learned to trust her instinct, to know her strengths, and also to appreciate her circumstances and those around her. World has opened up and expanded.

The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener

First thing is to accept who you are.  Start with looking at who you are as a person. Affirm yourself and look at yourself with a positive eye.
