868: Be Your Own Best Friend With Raechel Wong

Raechel Wong is an actor and voice over artist.  Coveted for her curiosity, resilience, and resourcefulness, Raechel has Be Your Own Best Friend With Raechel Wong worked with Craig Gillespie (Cruella; I, Tonya), indie megastars Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (Little Miss Sunshine), Paul Hunter, and comedy director Patrick Perez Vidauri (Casa de Mi Padre), among other notable creators and producers. More recently, you can catch her in the limited Hulu series Pam & Tommy, and on ABC’s Promised Land. Raechel is at once the whip-smart, Rubik’s Cube-solving* best friend, and the kickass femme fatale in Amazon Prime’s award-winning “Shut Up and Run.” When not pursuing one of her many interests, she’s collecting stamps in her passport and solving all the puzzles in the in-flight magazine.  Raechel is also the narrator for the audiobook The Tao of Self-Confidence: A Guide to Moving Beyond Trauma and Awakening the Leader Within written by Sheena Yap Chan.

Raechel used to be very shy, couldn’t make eye contact and talk to anyone.  She couldn’t trust her own gut so making her own decisions was tough on her part.

Raechel went through a phase of asking questions about herself which led to building a relationship with herself.  She was able to be kinder to herself and get to know herself better by knowing what she will and will not tolerate.  Raechel learned to become her own best friend.
