Definition of Self Confidence

Self confidence is being yourself and not caring what other people think especially if they don’t matter.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Before Nicole discovered her confidence, she was very shy.  She didn’t take much risk and the thought of putting herself out there made her feel very uncomfortable to the point where it made her cry. It was rough for Nicole to be in social events that had a lot of people. It overwhelmed her to just jump in a circle of kids and be herself.

The “AHA” Moment

Nicole discovered self confidence through dance. When she started at 7 years old, she was super shy and cried almost everyday because she was afraid of what people might think about her or her dancing.  She thought the AHA moment happened in a ballet class where she decided to put a little trust in herself and go for it. It was then that she realized she could do things she never knew she was capable of doing. Since then, every goal she achieved made her reach for the next. Even though she stepping outside her comfort zone made her feel uncomfortable, she knew that every time she did, it got easier.

Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence

Having confidence in herself and her dancing has taught Nicole that anything is possible. If she never took any chances, she never would gained the confidence to perform and have these opportunities. It’s also given her the confidence to get rid of toxic people in her life and know that her life is more positive without them.

The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener

You never know until you try.  The biggest lessons in life have come from failures and let downs. Have courage to be yourself and surround yourself with people that lift you and not bring you down.  Make sure the negativity in my life stays away.
