Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada to immigrant parents, Mary was told to stay quiet, even when she was laughing, and not ruffle any feathers. Today, Mary gives women self-confidence with their voice because she felt that she didn’t have one growing up. After working in radio for 20 years, she struck out on her own and founded Organized Sound Productions, a podcast production and consulting company.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
When Mary was a kid, she was always the smallest in her class and was the youngest of three, so she was portrayed as cute. She never wanted to be that type of girl, so she spoke too fast, talked too loud, and was very physical to try to be seen and heard.
The “AHA” Moment
Mary decided to go to radio school and didn’t like the sound of her voice from the recordings. She sounded like that little girl who was told to be quiet, so she worked on her voice to showcase her true self.
