Lynn Pinugu is the co-founder of She Talks Asia and Mano Amiga. She is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and 
quality education for all. Mano Amiga is a nonprofit organization providing high quality education and community development services to children & families from low-income communities. Mano Amiga uplifts communities through increased student learning outcomes, improved access to health and medical services, and increased sustainable livelihood opportunities. She Talks Asia aims to spark global female conversations through on-ground conferences, advocacy campaigns, and online stories focused on educating, empowering, and inspiring females from all over the world.

Definition of Self Confidence
Self confidence is tuning in with what you want without other peoples approval. It’s doing what you want without feeling the need to impress others and knowing yourself.
Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Lynn had a tiring life. She was hyper productive, chasing after something, seeking approval and always looking for what’s missing. She won a lot of awards from being a social entrepreneur and became addicted to what other people think of her. It was hard to receive feedback from others. She was living to fulfill other people’s expectations of her.
The “AHA” Moment
It was a breakup that started Lynn’s AHA moment. At 28 years old was when she found her inner confidence. She was in a toxic relationship and it took her ex on her and she decided to leave him. It was a big wake up call because she didn’t really know who she was since it was oriented through her ex.
She was able to get to know herself again and started to re-examine her life.
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
Lynn mentioned that She Talks Asia was born out of a heartbreak. She was healing from a heart break and found her voice as women. She created a platform to give back and find their voice.
Lynn feels a lot more empowered to say no to things that don’t serve her. She married to a great man, she knows the love she deserves.
