Self-confidence is merely just loving yourself for who are and accepting all your flaws.
Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Keri lacked self-confidence when she was growing up in grade school. Ask anyone who went to school with her and they could tell you she was very shy and sort of quiet. Keri just never felt confident in what she wanted to say and felt that if she did, she was being judged. However, the funny thing is was that Keri always dressed up everyday. She loved clothing and even though she was shy inside, she showed her personality through her clothing.
The “AHA” Moment
When thinking about how Keri dressed, she had an epiphany. Why can’t she carry that confidence into other facets of her life? It was such a simple realization, but oh so important when it comes to who she is today.
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
Today, Keri am still innately an introvert, but discovering her own self-confidence has really given her a boost. It opened up new opportunities and relationships for Keri. And she thinks her fashion blog had a lot to do with her confidence as well. She found something she loves and something she is good at, which really helped her self esteem.
The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener
In a society where it seems women are still the underdog, building your own self-confidence is no doubt an easy feat. However, start out small. Give yourself a compliment every morning when you wake up. When you get dressed, never think about what people would think about your outfit. If you like what you’re wearing, nothing else should matter. Realize that your words and opinions do matter. These small, mental changes can work together to give you the boost of self-confidence and self-love that every girl needs.
