Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Karla’s life was lackluster, she was underachieving real hard and she didn’t take so many risks. She was always scared of failing, and with that, she never won or achieved the things she wanted.
The “AHA” Moment
When Karla was 17, and she just joined a debate team. She had so many bad and embarrassing speeches that it helped her gain thick skin. Her mentors always told her, if you keep sucking and keep practicing and getting better, that’s the ONLY WAY you’ll win the championship. There is NO other way. She realized they were right so she went to practice every single day, until she won the championship. It took her two years, but it was worth it. Now, no speech can scare her, and no dinners will ever make her feel awkward again!
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
Karla got braver and braver at taking risks and going after what she really wants. The results: she got to do more and achieve more. Other good results: she can teach other women the same and help them achieve more too. In her own little way, she got to become a role model, and that’s nice.
