Definition of Self Confidence

Self-confidence is being true to yourself as a person and going for what you want despite the fear and the nay-sayers.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Julie was lonely, sad, and felt like she didn’t measure up to the Asian ideal of the petite Asian women.

The “AHA” Moment

Julie’s cousin told her that in order to be successful, she needed to be thin.  Julie felt sad, disempowered, insecure and very angry. The anger turned to spite; the spite fuelled her fire, her resolve. In that moment she took her power back and promised herself to always act with confidence and to do things on her terms, in her own way.
