Favorite Self Confidence Quote
You had the power all along my dear.
Definition of Self Confidence
Loving yourself, warts and all. Confidence is not about being perfect or better than the next. It is about owning who you are as a being on this planet and understanding that you matter because you say you do.
Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Jennifer was very much a people pleaser. she would take their opinions and live within those confines. Growing up in Oklahoma was not easy for her.
The “AHA” Moment
Jennifer realized at a young age she will never fit a mold because no one was like her. Once again growing up mixed race gave her a choice which was either keep trying unsuccessfully to be like the others or settle into the fact that she never would and choosing what worked best for her.
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
Freedom! Jennifer lives outside of the box so much it became her way of being. She has always followed her own pied piper hence the reason she does a multitude of things (serial entrepreneur) and she is friends with several different types of people.
The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener
Pick a theme song. A song that encompasses all that they want to be, the vision of the type of person they want to become. I tell them to play it when they walk down the street (when they strut), to listen to it before a meeting or when any moment comes that they need to feel powerful. Eventually, they will no longer need it as they will be it!
