Definition of Self Confidence

Self confidence is being comfortable in your own skin, knowing your worth and not settling.  It’s not thinking you’re better than anyone else, but just knowing that you have something unique to offer the world.  Also , it’s understanding that everyone has doubts at times, but reminding yourself not to wallow in your doubts.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Jacquelyn was less secure in herself and often looking to outside sources/people for validation.

The “AHA” Moment

For Jacquelyn, it was more a gradual process of discovering who she was meant to be. She started surrounding herself with the type of people she wanted to be and they helped her grow. Some people may think that social media has negative effects, but she found that it was actually very positive for her journey.  She found people who were going through similar struggles and was inspired by their testimonials of how they overcame their issues. This helped her gain confidence that she was also able to reach her own goals and become more secure in herself.
