Elizabeth Asai, also known as Liz, is the CEO and co-founder of 3Derm Systems, Inc.  3Derm is a cost-effective skin imaging It’s All Perspective With Elizabeth Asaisystem that allows any user to take clinical-quality 3D images of concerning skin lesions and upload them instantly for review by a dermatologist.  The company implements their technology within fee-for-value health systems as a triage system, allowing primary care physicians to use our handheld imager in their clinics and send images via cloud to in-network dermatologists, ensuring those with alarming conditions are seen as soon as possible, while reducing spending on unnecessary appointments.

Elizabeth shares how having a different perspective on confidence has allowed her to take action in creating her successful company and is continuously moving on to bigger and better stages in her life.

Liz and her engineering friends decided to start 3derm as a project.  She decided to get funding for her project even though her peers thought they would be rejected.  Liz decided to go ahead and she got funding for $2000.  This made Liz change her perception of what is possible and not possible.
