Cynthia Cherish Malaran is a DJ and Reverend known as CherishTheLuv.  She is an International Mobile Audio&Video DJ, Be Your Own Boss With Cynthia Cherish Malaransparking events from NYC to an ever-growing list of locations in the Tri-State area, DC, NOLA, PA, LA, Chicago, Silicon Valley, Hawaii, Canada and Europe, with so much more to come on the calendar. Recently DJing for W Hotel, Punta de Mita, Mexico, DJ CherishTheLuv will DJ anywhere her passport will allow. Her current DJ Residencies are at Whole Foods Bryant Park NYC, Urban Vegan Kitchen, Heritage Radio Network and for the We Are Family Foundation.  DJ CherishTheLuv is also the Principal Director at The Listen School NYC/CityKids Foundation.

Cynthia shares her journey as a breast cancer survivor and it has given her a positive outlook on life.  She also shares how being her boss allowed her to live life on her terms creating her own income and boosting her confidence.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Cynthia used to hide from people and wasn’t really in society.  She was not able to express her creativity.

The “AHA” Moment

Cynthia decided to take matters in her own hands and own it.  She realized that she could be her own boss which was unheard of for her.

Another AHA moment was when she was diagnosed with breast cancer and survived.  She realize she has a choice to see this as something positive in her life or negative.  It was upto her.
