Definition of Self Confidence

Self confidence is the ability to detach from things you can’t control. It stems from the courage to be yourself.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

In terms of career and achieving goals, Cristine has always been a confident girl.  She trusted her capabilities to learn fast and that has kept her going since she was young. However, what she was not confident in was what others would think her.  She was overly attached to the notion of being liked by everyone.  She was a chameleon.  She agreed on what everyone said.  Cristine was afraid that by being herself, she would lose people. This also manifested in her fear of sharing her biggest dreams to her friends.

The “AHA” Moment

The transformation began after Cristine took the role of primary caregiver for her terminally ill mom.  That experience showed to her that life is too short to waste time on things you can not control such as people’s judgment.
