Clarice Lin is a Marketing Strategist, Growth Marketer and founder of BaselineLabs.  Ten years ago, she quit her job and Being Independent With Clarice Linleft everything behind in Singapore to move to London. After more than 100 rejections over four months, she finally secured a job.  Five years later, she  co-founded BaselineLabs which is a growth-marketing and rebranding agency.  In her company, she utilized a practical, creative approach, that means no B.S, using numbers to guide decisions and unique ideas on how to help your business stand out.

Clarice shares how moving to London taught her how to do things for herself and become the independent woman that she is today.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Growing up in an academically in Singapore was difficult for Clarice. She was constantly comparing herself to other students.  She didn’t align her strengths and was following the path of her peers.

The “AHA” Moment

Clarice made the biggest decision of her life by moving overseas to work and took her 10 years to do it.  She moved to London with no job but got the work visa.  While she was there she was able to step out of her comfort zone.  She started did things for herself such as cooking for herself.  She became independent and self reliant even though she was late bloomer when she did all of this.

Clarice travelled some more for herself, rebuild her personal belief system and built her self esteem up.  She realized she was responsible for her actions and enjoys learning new things.
