Definition of Self Confidence

Self confidence is being fully aware of yourself and completely owning up to your weaknesses, and more importantly, your strengths.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Chantal was loud and outgoing because that’s what she thought confidence was.  She wanted to be funny to cover self esteem issues.  She was overweight and was unhappy with herself.

The “AHA” Moment

Chantal started yoga practice because of her very poor health both in mind and body.  She actually just wanted to be relieved of muscle cramps due to her obesity and it was something to do because she was a stay at home mom at that time.  Chantal challenged herself to commit to just 21 days of what seemed like a physically impossible yoga practice and was so surprised that she was able to, first, commit to something productive for 21 days, and second that he efforts produced results she could see and feel.

Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence

Chantal is more in control of herself.  She now believes that putting herself forward, pursuing an interest or creating a goal is something she can do because she can actually see herself as capable. Regardless of the results, the very act of attempting to do or be something is already rewarding because there is personal growth. It was also here that she began seeing her self-worth.
