Favorite Self Confidence Quote

There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open.  There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others.

Definition of Self Confidence

Self confidence is belief in your own worth.  It’s defining who you are.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Brooke is the youngest of 3 girls.  Her family is artistic and she grew up in entertainment.  She was conditioned to be a certain way, have a certain mentality, and had a naive sense of confidence.

When she hit 1st major roadblock, it was the first time of self doubt.  Her self confidence went down and she didn’t know her worth/value.  She became doubtful, insecure, and fearful.

The “AHA” Moment

Brooke had a hero’s journey.  So many factors compounded.  A relationship tested what she wanted or who she was.  When turning 30, she moved back to Los Angeles to start over.  She was in a challenging place but she started to rebuild her confidence and foundation.  She reinvented herself and it was like the phoenix rising when it came to her self confidence.
