Definition of Self Confidence
Allowing yourself the space to make mistakes without cutting off self-love.
Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Niamh would always looking for the “right way” and she would stay frozen in the moment trying to google her way into perfection. She would hold herself back from moving forward because she was waiting for the perfect path and the perfect moves to unfold in front of her. If she made mistakes, she was seriously MEAN to herself. It made it incredibly hard to do anything.
The “AHA” Moment
Niamh was studying and studying trying to find the right way and getting really mad at the conflicting answers she was finding to marketing her business online. Everyone seemed to do something different from each other. And for every “rule” one marketer gave there was someone else breaking it and doing amazing.
So she realized that there really ARE no rules, and if there are no rules there is no perfect. And if there is no perfect… she’s free!
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
Niamh began to play more in her marketing. She gave herself room to experiment and try new things and let them flop. She started to treat herself a bit more lovingly, and let go of the internal whip and chastising. Very quickly, her subconscious responded by allowing her access to ideas. Niamh had the guts to try the ideas and learn from them. So she began to create her OWN marketing that felt good, that fits her, but that also worked as she had learned a lot of the principles of marketing.
Over time this self reliance gave her the courage to create her own products and her own path. Putting together a complete business that fully aligned to her.
The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener
Just give yourself space to mess up, without internal punishment. Treat your inner ideas and self like a child. They have to explore to learn, and they have to try to move forward. When self love is NOT withheld if you make a mistake you will gain more and more access to your inner ideas and compass.
