743: Start Putting Effort With Sneha Gandhi White

Sneha Gandhi White is the owner of Educational Coach by Sneha grew up in her Cupertino neighborhood surrounded by the Start Putting Effort With Sneha Gandhi Whitebeauty of diversity. Because she was shy, Sneha found it difficult to make friends. Her mother and father, however, encouraged her to break through her shyness by learning how to read and introduced her to the Nancy Drew and Harry Potter Series, which grabbed hold of her attention so strongly that she lost focus of her schoolwork. At the same time, however, she gained a lifelong love for reading and literacy. This helped her to discover early on that she had a passion for helping others and serving her community. In fact, she began teaching neighboring children at just 12 years old, and before long, her ability to do so, grew into her passion.

Sneha shares when she decided to start putting effort into the woman that she wanted to be, that’s when her confidence grew and the right opportunities came her way.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

As a young girl, Sneha never felt attractive and comfortable with who she was.  She wore a mask of happiness because that it is what she felt others needed to see from her in order to appreciate her presence.  Her peers teased her and never made her feel welcome.  She began to feel that every single thing that made her different and unique was something to be ashamed of. As a result, her safe space was libraries.  Her school librarians became her best friends who showed her the world of literature and the incredible stories that lay hidden between the bindings of so many books.

The “AHA” Moment

When Sneha’s husband insisted that she push herself and go to community college for a fresh start.  She realized that it was time to start putting effort into the woman that she wanted everyone else to see. After a year and a half of going to school full time, she received the acceptance letter that changed her life.  She received admission to Loyola Marymount’s Psychology program.  She was one of 33 students who got in after over 1000 applicants. That was the most incredible moment of her life!  Sneha realized that no matter how hard life may seem, whatever obstacles appear before her is not insurmountable!

Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence

After the discovery that Sneha had what it takes in this world, life has been filled with the most incredible moments. She has discovered and nourished her life as an educator and educational coach. Through these blessings, she has been able to work on her current projects as a speaker, curriculum writer, and world traveler. She is also quite blessed to have the most incredible and supportive partner who simply wants to experience life with her! With hard work and dedication, she hopes to see her name in lights one day!

Never give up on yourself. Know that your beauty lies within your heart and your mind. No matter how unfair life may seem, it is simply a way that the world is trying to see what you are made of. Gather your squad of one or two people who will stand by your side unconditionally and remember that it is not about the quantity of people in our lives, but the quality of the people in your life.
