Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
In high school, Marilen had no confidence. She experienced changes in body and she was self conscious. She has her thyroid cyst removed which left a noticeable scar on her neck which dampened her self esteem.
The “AHA” Moment
In college, modelling helped Marilen’s confidence especially being in front of a big crowd. Things fell into place and she started hanging around with a great group of people.
