Self-confidence is believing that you can do what the other person can do and even better.
Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Faith grew up in the Philippines and didn’t even own a TV until she was about 11 or 12 years old. She lived in poverty but also had a happy life. Back then she only knew what she knew when she grew up in the Philippines. Anything that was a bonus for her was considered as gravy.
The “AHA” Moment
Faith realized that there wasn’t a TV network in North America that was strictly showcasing Asian talent. Her passion to create the ChimeTV fuelled her to make it happen when she dealt with a racist attack by telling her to go back to China. She wanted everyone to stop treating the Asian American community as a monolith and wanted to create a solution by showcasing the diversity within Asian cultures.
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
Faith is doing something that is out of her expertise which is being in the media business but she is committed to creating a positive impact with ChimeTV so it gives her the confidence to move forward even when times are tough. This is her toughest career move to date but she is ready for the challenge.
