Chelsea Nguyen is a professional image consultant specializing in working with the blind, visually impaired and disabled Improve Yourself With Chelsea Nguyencommunity, but also works with the general public. Her professional background is as a small business owner for the past 17 years, is a seasoned hairstylist and makeup artist and has a passion for teaching and training in both the beauty industry as a CHI Master Educator with Farouk Systems and as a Certified Rehabilitation Trainer in the State of Texas.  She is also the founder of CN Vision Image Consulting, LLC which offers consultation and work readiness services to people who are blind, low vision or have other disabilities. She strives to help her clients increase their self-confidence, independence and soft skills so they can become gainfully employed or to elevate their current professional image. Chelsea and her team shares specialized non-visual and adaptive techniques to applying make up, shaving , grooming and how to dress for success, even with limited or no eyesight.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Chelsea came from an abusive marriage, which took out a lot of her confidence.  She doubted herself and felt worthless.  She was in a really bad place and had thoughts of suicide.

The “AHA” Moment

Chelsea had little AHA moments.  When she realized that enough is enough, she started improving herself for her children.  She decided to go back to college, decided to be financially independent,  and started overcoming her fears such as public speaking.
