Cathlyn Choi is a TV Producer/Host, Celebrity chef and community activist. She has over 20 years of business development, sales and marketing executive background within the consumer electronics, wireless, media, wellness, health and beauty industries in North America, South America and Asia. Since 2009, Cathlyn is best known for hosting and producing Cathlyn’s Korean Kitchen, the first Korean TV cooking show produced in English worldwide. Dubbed “Hansik Korean Food Ambassador” by the media and her fans, Cathlyn self-published and launched her first cookbook in 2012 along with her Season 4 cooking show launch on national PBS. Currently, Cathlyn is the co-owner and producer at Carma Media Productions specializing in digital media marketing solutions as well as producing commercial ads and Television shows. She is also the founder and Executive Director of Asian Culture and Media Alliance, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2013 to promote and empower the Asian and Pacific Islander communities and culture through the power of Television, Film and New Media. She is the host and producer of Asian Voices, the only TV show in English on cable TV networks featuring Asian culture, community, business, lifestyle and entertainment in Southern California.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Cathlyn had clarity and knew what she wanted in life. At 6 years old, she wanted to be wanted to be on TV and begged her parents to play electric organ. Back then she was shy and was afraid of voicing her thoughts.
The “AHA” Moment
Cathlyn got her first check for $250 at the age of 10 when she had her first TV gig. Out of her 3 siblings, she knew she was a special one since she was born during the war and almost wasn’t born plus she got struck by lightning twice. She knew in her heart she was born for a reason.
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
Cathlyn started creating awareness Korean health food through media and her own cooking show on PBS for four seasons. Then she created the show called Asian Voices since there’s a lack of asian representation. She also gives back which is why she created a non profit for Asian people.
