Show up in every single moment, like you’re meant to be there.
Definition of Self Confidence
Self confidence means first, that you are owning who you are. In other words, embracing your complete self. That means, your culture, your upbringing.. as well as all the decisions you’ve made, the fears you have, where you are right now. Accepting all of that and understanding it at 100%.
And then it means allowing yourself to dream, in unapologetic way. To do all the hard stuff that comes with it, the failing, the rejection and doing it with the ability to get back up and do it again, with NO SHAME in your game.
Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Amber was this woman full of a thousand ideas and ambition yet she was standing still. Privately in them. Afraid to explore it more, or execute it. We’ve all met that person who spends all their time talking about it until they’re blue in the face, yet never doing a damn thing about it. That was Amber, before she pulled “self confidence” into the equation.
The “AHA” Moment
Amber was sad. She cried to herself about a life unfulfilled. Confused how is it, that she is this mom, this career woman, this MBA graduate… But so depressed? It turns out, she wasn’t being 100 with herself, she wasn’t pursuing what her heart desired. Which was writing and connecting with the world the way she dreamed of. So she needed to step back and say… “wait a minute, it’s my turn to do what I want” you know? She already tried it everyone else’s way. It’s her turn. So she went to work on that.
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
Amber finally pulled in that missing piece of the equation which is self Confidence. And It gave her results. She went both feet in and no one could tell her nothing after that. If someone said she can’t write for that magazine, she would. If someone told her she is not as pretty as these other bloggers, she didn’t care. If they said she couldn’t write a book. Too bad, she would do it anyway. When someone said there was no way, she created a way for herself, she created space for herself to BE THERE. After this discovery, she was relentless in the belief in herself and no one could change her mind.
The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener
Have un-wavering faith, in what you can do. Follow that through like your life depends on it, because it does. They don’t pay your bills, they don’t define you. Their thoughts are all small narrow ideas. A box that they fit you into, because they are afraid themselves. Where does it come from? Doesn’t matter. Why do they feel that way? doesn’t matter. You matter. You are responsible for only you. And you define what your life is going to look like. Without self confidence, you stay where you are, you will not be making any moves.
