She thought why even bother going outside her comfort zone, she was doing “okay.” She had a stable job and career that pays the bills even though she knew it is not what she loves to do. Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

It took Aileen 33 years to find my self confidence. She was wasting my energy on somebody else. She was also pleasing everyone else but herself and then she regret it and resented others for putting herself in the situation that she herself caused. The stories she told herself before is much different than now.

The “AHA” Moment

Definitely after giving birth to her son. Aileen thought she had a mild postpartum but not enough for her to cry for no reason. But it definitely made her question how she wanted the rest of her life to be. How she wanted to live with a son to take care of and a marriage to nourish. It made her question why she did what she was currently doing and is this how she wanted to live for the rest of her life. After giving birth, those were the happiest days of her life as well as the most trying moments as there’s so much going on and her body and brain couldn’t catch-up. That’s why Aileen had to pause everything else and just slow down and question everything. That’s when the AHA moment happened.

Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence

It’s like Neo before matrix and after he discovered the matrix. Aileen sees the world in a different light. It may sounds so cliche but that’s the best way she would describe it. She lives with so much purpose now. She lives with clarity as opposed to just living for the sake of living.
