Be comfortable, confident and complete with the reflection you see yourself every morning.
Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Jenny grew up in midwest and there was only a handful of students who are not white in her school. Ever since she was in high school she always stood out. Sometimes her classmates made fun of her for being Asian. When she was a teenager she had resentment to her parents for being Chinese because she believe at that time if she were white that her life would be much easier.
The “AHA” Moment
Jenny spent one year to self-discovery and looking for way to improve herself. The biggest AHA moment was the moment she was finally able to accept herself as what she sees. Then she can be authentic with herself, what she can improve, what she is lacking and how she can have breakthrough in those areas.
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
Jenny wasn’t happy with career path she was on before, so the breakthrough she had was to build her own company from scratch. Many challenges come along the way but that is where she found her strength and creativity.
The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener
Don’t get into your internal conversation of why you are not pretty enough, smart enough, good enough and strong enough. The more you entertain that conversation more you will be dragged into downward spiral and you just talk yourself out off doing something. If you want something, go get it, just do it. Put the work in and put the time in. If you don’t get it today, you will get it tomorrow, as long as you don’t give up, you will get there. Not a winner today, doesn’t mean not a winner tomorrow. Being in action and keep that possibility alive.
