Favorite Self Confidence Quote
It is confidence in our bodies, minds, and spirits that allows us to keep looking for new adventures.
Definition of Self Confidence
Self confidence is not letting the opinions and thoughts of others affect how we feel about ourselves when really our own opinion is the one that matters the most. It’s being confident about yourself, your worth, and what you are doing. Self Confidence is knowing that you are much more than the negativity eluded from others and to just be yourself and own it!
It’s about learning what went through in our pasts and using to shape our future. It’s about stepping out of stereotypes/cultural norms and break barriers to help shape a newer perception of strong women today.
Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Before Dipali discovered her own self confidence, she always doubted her own abilities. She had less self worth. She was surrounded by people who hindered her growth. She let all of that hold her back from how she truly felt and was capable of.
The “AHA” Moment
Unfortunately it was 5 yrs ago today exactly when Dipali’s Dad passed away. Growing up her Dad was always her #1 fan and cheerleader. He kept pushing her to be more and never letting anything stop her from her goals. It wasn’t until he passed away that she came to the realization that she was responsible for her own journey.
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
For Dipali, it was like a whole new world. She felt like she was living in a fog for so long that she didn’t know what clear skies looked like. The weight off her shoulders and head was lifted. She left a toxic relationship that was affecting everyone in it. She was able to not only focus on herself, but she was able to be a better person for the most important people in her life which is her kids.
The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener
Listen to your gut. Intuition is a funny thing and it usually steers you in the right direction. If someone or something is holding you back from being the best version of yourself, have the courage to walk away from it. Also, don’t be scared to take chances on yourself because you are worth the fight.
