Definition of Self Confidence

Self confidence is being unaffected by what other people think or say about you

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Rachel grew up in an Asian household.  Her parents were already divorced but as a child she performed alot on stage.  She was always praised by her mother and won many awards for her performance.  When she was thrown out into the real world, it was the first time she received harsh criticism for her performance which lowered her confidence.  She was picked on her looks and lost confidence in her industry especially when she encountered a #MeToo experience.

The “AHA” Moment

Rachel spent three months in the Philippines and took time to help the less fortunate.  She gained her confidence back by taking the focus out on herself and focused it on helping others.  She realized that even though they lived simple lives, they were happy.  This also made her appreciate the small things in life.  It also helped her learn to be fine with exactly who you are and free to be ourselves and our success.
