Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Marylen used to be shy and quiet. She would not speak up even if she knew the right answer in school. She would sit quietly in the corner.

The “AHA” Moment

Marylen had several AHA moments but there were two that she mentioned. The first one was when she took a job in Palawan which was the first time she was away from her home. She experienced freedom and independence when she was on the job training. The second AHA moment was when her daughter complained that Marylen had no time for her. This helped Marylen decide to go into entrepreneurship.
