Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Alexandra was undervalued and a little lost. She went through waves where she would be confident in college, then when the real world hit she lost a lot of confidence.
The “AHA” Moment
Alexandra was working at a nonprofit that, while a very good nonprofit, it wasn’t an ideal fit for her. Her Aha moment was when she finally decided that it wasn’t the role for her and she overcame many issues particularly loyalty to the company.
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
Alexandra is excited to move to Thailand with her husband and this wouldn’t have happened if she didn’t go through this journey. She also had a huge mindset shift.
She also realized that understanding your value is huge. She is able to approach things differently and able to make decisions around her values. The most interesting experience was being able to say no to things. She was offered a full time job. But that time she had been bitten by the entrepreneurial bug. Alexandra had the confidence to choose to be an independent contractor so that she would have the flexibility to pursue her passions.
