Favorite Self Confidence Quote
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.
Definition of Self Confidence
Self confidence is resilience. It is more than just trusting your abilities but actually believing yourself enough to take the risk.
Self-confidence is going after the things that you want even before you know what the outcome is. It’s trusting yourself enough to know that whatever happens you have what it takes to be either win or learn. Self-confidence is rooted in humility – when you have nothing to prove to anyone, when you are not being anyone other than yourself, you can take risks. Self-confidence is believing in yourself enough to know that whatever comes your way, you can handle it so you become fearless in your pursuits.
Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Carla was scared of everything! She was scared of what people thought of her, she was scared of tainting her image. She barely took any risks! It was a boring well-calculated life.
The “AHA” Moment
Carla’s AHA moment was when she left everything she knew behind and started over in Los Angeles. She had to start from the bottom and that takes humility. That was the moment she let go of everything that was holding her back and just went after it. Her life has been a series of risks since then. It’s been a ride but she would like to say it was worth it.
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
Life looks very different for Carla and she keeps taking the next step even if she still second guesses herself.
The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener
Don’t fear anything because there is no losing in life. Every experience teaches you to either win or learn. Whatever it is, whether it is a victorious celebration or a sad experience, there is always something to learn.
