Leanne Robers is the co-founder of She Loves Tech. She Loves Tech is a global platform committed to building an ecosystem for 
technology, entrepreneurship and innovation that creates opportunities for women. Founded in 2015, they are the world’s largest tech startup competition focused on women-led or women-impact businesses and are currently in over 20 international locations. It’s been Leanne’s purpose and mission to create a support system for women in tech and have more representation in the industry.

The “AHA” Moment
When Leanne was promoted to be a manager in her 20s to lead a team of male engineers, she was trying to seek approval from her team. Her boss told her that he promoted her because of the fresh perspective she can bring to the table. From then she started showing up to her work meetings as her authentic self and brought a new lens to the workplace.
Also while creating She Loves Tech, she realize there was not enough representation for women in tech and the need for more female role models in this industry.
