Favorite Self Confidence Quote

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, “I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.” You must do the thing you think you cannot do.

Definition of Self Confidence

Self-confidence is about having the kindness and patience to know that confidence is not a constant. It’s fluid. Sometimes you trust yourself and your abilities and sometimes you have to earn your own trust again.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

When Melissa was a teenager, she had subterranean self-esteem so much so that when she turned 18, she got “love” tattooed on her body as a prompt — as if she could just give herself a stamp of approval and she would finally be worthy.  She realized that it’s not something for her to achieve, full stop.  She continued to seek self-confidence. For example, she was feeling on top of the world in her job until they transferred her to the finance section of her newspaper.  Melissa was definitely NOT confident. She was not a finance expert but she knew that she could build confidence by doing and by learning. Today, she educates millions of people about finance.  She also empowers women and helps them become more confident in life through managing their money and destinies

The “AHA” Moment

In 2014 ,when Melissa’s husband became ill, it became the basis of her book when she went on a journey to find happiness and found money wisdom.  She also realized she can find happiness in the face of uncertainty, misery and chaos.  Whatever comes she can deal with it.

The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener

Life is short, surround yourself with good people.  Anything you say negative, say two nice things to yourself immediately.  Perfectionism is the enemy of confidence.
