Sarah Chen is the cofounder of Lean In Malaysia and venture investor.  She invests in and nurtures innovative technologies via an Go Big Or Go Home With Sarah Cheninnovation and ventures arm in one of Asia’s largest multinational conglomerates.  As the co-Founder of Lean In Malaysia, she has created the #leanin movement in Asia which a platform to educate, enable and empower women to harness their full potential.  Sarah is also a media personality (professional moderator and presenter) particularly focused in the sphere of Women and Business.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

AT 9 YEARS OLD, Sarah missed an audition sign up, which dampened her self esteem and was disappointed. Her father encouraged her to go back and ask to be auditioned even after sign ups had closed, the producer agreed, and she was a TV host from nine years old!

The “AHA” Moment

Sarah started her movement with her partner by inviting friends to their small event. It started with 20 friends, then grew to 1,000 and now to over 300,000 within the network. This made Sarah realized how much women wanted to fulfil their vision and she found a niche to serve. After this she decided she would either go big or go home.
