Maria Kang is known as the No Excuse Mom. In her twenties, Maria battled an eating disorder and began her popular blog in 2005. She gave birth in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and started the first free No Excuse Mom group in Elk Grove. In 2014 she started the No Excuse Mom movement, where she rallied thousands of mothers to begin hundreds of free workout groups in over 25 countries. In March 2015, she is launched her first book with Harmony books, titled “The No More Excuses Diet” detailing a realistic meal plan, home workouts and her trademark goal-setting strategy of S.P.E.E.D., S.T.R.I.V.E. and S.C.O.R.E.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Back then, Maria went through different stages before discovering her confidence. She cared about what others thought of her, she never thought she was beautiful because she was of Asian descent and she lacked in her own abilities and her purpose.
The “AHA” Moment
Maria’s catholic faith made her realize she can let go and let God take care of it. She knew there was a purpose behind in each pain she encountered in her life.
In her 20s, she was competitive and looked like she was confident on the outside but really didn’t have it on the inside.
She also realized she is not defined by what she looks like or the things she owned.
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
Life is incredible for Maria. Her No Excuse Mom movement is now in over 25 countries. Maria is now living a purposeful life.
