You are more than a number.

You are more than a number.

Definition of Self Confidence

Feeling comfortable in your own skin. Accepting yourself for who you are, and the body you were born with. Nothing screams confident more than emitting the self-love you have for yourself. And no, that doesn’t mean you’re selfish!

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Hana was insecure of herself and always needed to be perfect in everything.  She set ridiculously high standards for herself which led to her anorexia.

The “AHA” Moment

When Hana’a therapist told her that she doesn’t view her friends the way she views herself, then why doesn’t she apply the same views to herself.  She was very judgemental of herself.

Also she focused on her accomplishments rather than dwelling on negative experiences in her life. Positive affirmations helped her a lot.

Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence

Hana admits that she still deals with perfectionism but she deals with it alot better.  She is more lenient on herself and knows that she is human.  As long as she does her best, she is proud of herself, success or fail.  She also has learned to give herself a break to avoid burnout and practices self forgiveness.

The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener

Learn to love yourself and your body. You were born with this incredible machine and you need to take care of it. Do simple nonobjective exercises like saying, “thank you, legs, for carrying me around throughout the day.” It might seem silly, but it makes you look at your body in a different way. Realize everyone was born different, and that brings the personality and diversity to the world.
