Definition of Self Confidence

Really loving and accepting yourself, flaws and all; and when you aren’t feeling very loving or accepting no one can tell the difference.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Mary was certainly feeling self-conscious, especially around my weight and appearance. She resisted affection from people who really cared about me because of my own inhibitions.

The “AHA” Moment

Mary  was post-divorce, had just started online dating and the responses she got were unexpected. She also went to a party with some old school mate’s and each of the guys were talking about high school and what they thought of us gals and it made her laugh because they talked about her so adoringly which was not what her personal experience in her own mind was when she was in school.

The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener

Don’t be so hard on yourself. Let people love you for you who are and don’t get hung up on your perceived imperfections.
