Favorite Self Confidence Quote

Are you paralyzed with fear? That’s a good sign. Fear is good. Like self-doubt, fear is an indicator. Fear tells us what we have to do. Remember one rule of thumb: the more scared we are of a work or calling, the more sure we can be that we have to do it.

Definition of Self Confidence

To  play to your strengths instead of trying to be you’re not and figuring out who you are.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Carmen was  introverted.  She was less comfortable with herself growing up bi-racial constantly proving to both races who she was.  She was always striving to fit in what other people expects her to be.

The “AHA” Moment

Having children made Carmen look at things in a different way.  It made her realize what kind of legacy she wanted to leave her children with.

Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence

Carmen is more aware.  She lives with her multicultural family and has no expectations of them living a certain way, only what makes them happy.

Life is also great for Carmen, her big goals are a great reminder for her to keep on pushing.

The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener

There will always be naysayers, you can’t please everyone.  Learn to accept it.

Yes, you do need to get over your ego. When you feel good about yourself, it is not bragging, it’s just being happy with who you are.
