Favorite Self Confidence Quote

Laugh at yourself, but don’t ever aim your doubt at yourself. Be bold. When you embark for strange places, don’t leave any of yourself safely on shore. Have the nerve to go into unexplored territory.

Laugh at yourself

Definition of Self Confidence

Self confidence is just having faith that everything is going to be okay.

Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence

Before Bramdy was feeling a little stuck. She had this burning desire for adventure deep down inside her but she was fresh out of college and right into a management position that made her pretty comfortable.

Brandy struggled with her inner voice and what her friends and family were telling her to do. She knew she had it in her, she just had a hard time letting go of what other people were telling her.

The “AHA” Moment

Brandy’s most powerful moments come when she is in nature. She gets all her strength from nature.

Her AHA moments were in stages but all had something to do with nature such as working in a national park or camping by herself for days.
Another one was moving to a Spanish speaking country to discover a whole new way of life and staying in a Costa Rican rainforest by herself.

Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence

Brandy knew that if she can survive a trip to a Costa Rican rainforest, then she can survive anything.  She has been living the life on an ongoing adventure.

Even though she still runs into obstacles, she always finds a way to come out of it and live the life she desires.

The One Self Confidence Tip For the Listener

If you’re ever looking for some guidance or strength, just go into nature, go alone, even if it’s just a walk in the park or a sit by the river, just go and ask yourself what is it that you really want? What is it gonna take to really make yourself happy?  Then look around at all the beauty and know, you’re right, and that everything is going to work out just fine.
Also, a message to all the women of the world…
“Follow your heart, let go of whatever’s holding you back, don’t listen to what other people tell you and just go for it. Don’t let fear hold you back and don’t let money, or lack thereof, ever hold you back. Just make sacrifices, make a plan, and make shit happen! Follow your heart ladies!”

Very brave woman, Brandy is. Absolutely agree that being in nature can help us connect more with our inner selves. I remember an unforgettable experience when I took a walk while camping by myself — not in a rain forest though. My hat is off to you, Brandy. Well done Sheena.
