Favorite Self Confidence Quote
Step out of your comfort zone in order to grow and discover your true self. It is okay to be scared. Being scared means you’re about to do something really, really great.
Definition of Self Confidence
Is the ability to have faith in yourself and your ability to complete a task.
Her Life Before the Discovery of Self Confidence
Before the discovery, Rowena did not have any sense of responsibility, including financial, all credit cards maxed out and her Mom ended up paying all those.
She was completely dependent on my parents when it comes to decision making as well. Its pretty embarrassing to say but she was dependent on others too when she was back home. That’s why when Rowena came to Canada she did not know a lot of household things, the only thing she knew was Cooking. She didn’t even know how wash the dishes properly, mop the floor or even do laundry.
The “AHA” Moment
Rowena’s Culinary career was taking off when her Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer.(That’s when she started making research about whole foods and natural cure to cancer) The following year, while she was recovering from chemotherapy, her parents decided to come to Canada and spend some time with her as it has been a while since they saw each other.
Two weeks before they were supposed to go home. Another tragedy happened to Rowena’s family. The sudden death of her dad due to heart failure. Life must go on, at least they still had her Mom, as she was cancer free at one point. They all thought she was totally healed. Then a year after her dad died, the cancer came back, it has been metastasized to her bones, she lost her battle.
Rowena was pretty stressed, very depressed, and was scared for her siblings, and of responsibility, as she knew she needed to step up as the oldest in the family. She had all thess feelings, because she became too comfortable with what she had after she finished her culinary school and secured a good job, she stopped learning.
She even questioned God why bad things happen to good people sometimes, its like one bad thing after another. Then one day, mher friend brought her into a Christian Church and she stumbled into this verse: Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to proper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”
Rowena had to believe that something good would come out of this, So she did not give up.
That’s when her fave quote “to step out of comfort zone” came in handy again. Rowena told herself over and over again, that it is okay to be scared because she is about to do something really, really great! That’s when she discovered her calling in life. She continues with cooking, and learning about the power of herbs and whole foods to boost the immune system became her primary interest. She continued my studies in Natural Nutrition. That’s why she does what she does now.
Her Life After the Discovery of Self Confidence
Rowena feels fulfilled! I have true joy. Although she is continuously learning, still trying out new things. She has never been this happy in her whole life now that she knows that she can do anything and nothing is impossible with God’s guidance.
